We Are The Superlative Conspiracy

In 2021 I created this acrylic painting from a photo of my friend and me. We are seven years old, and pop music, summer, and a self-proclaimed certainty of who we were surrounded us. While I was making the painting, the memory warped, as if the younger us in a parallel universe were coming back to haunt.

It measures 120 x 80 cm and I showed it at the show All Inn, Het Hem in Zandaam, NL.
