Handle With Care

The idea of a largescale paper airplane has been with me for many years, and is still under process.

In 2022 a 2 meter long Paper-mâché plane was a part of the project Handle With Care. It took place in Helsingborg, Sweden for H22; which was a major initiative by the city of Helsingborg to improve the quality of life in a smarter, more sustainable city.

With this in mind, Handle With Care showed several previous textile-works of mine in one of the restaurated shipping containers, situated right by harbour.

In 2021 two Paper-mâché airplanes was a part of an outdoor installation at Witte De With straat in Rotterdam, under the title With Love For Those Who Failed Us. This project was more about endurance, as these paper-planes where hanging outdoors in the storm for a week.
