Forgive Forget

The first House of Cards was for the exhibition Love After Love, The Green Room, Amsterdam in 2023:

Love After Love promises that the end of one love won’t be the end of all love—that love, in fact, is something continuous and renewable. Artists invited presented their interpretation/ question of renewable love, reconnection with oneself, and soul cleansing.

The work stood for one evening, until the most silent visitor accidentally touched it with its foot, and it fell.

The performance has thereafter taken place at several locations in various forms with various outcomes.

During Bermuda Open Studios in The Hague, 2023, the performance took place in Grey Space In The Middle.

I built the house fully together with the help of a friend, where it got bended into a special shape, before it fell.

I was invited to a duo-show at Gallery Joseph, in Paris 2023. Together with the ambient soundartist Glimlicht, we hosted an eight hour performance. I used black cards instead, and the audience was invited to participate.

One visitor spent a long time on a larger structure, which eventually fell.
